Functions:
The ProSoft MVI69-MCM is a communication module designed for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems that allows Rockwell Automation CompactLogix processors to easily interface with other Modbus protocol-compatible devices.
The module acts as an input/output module between the Modbus network and the Rockwell Automation backplane, and the data transfer between the processor and the Modbus network is asynchronous.
Data between the processor and the Modbus network is exchanged in the module through a register space of 5000 words.
