Series:
The A6312 belongs to Emerson’s family of monitors and is used with AMS 6500 monitors to build a complete API 670 mechanical protection monitor.
Features:
Redundancy mode: This mode can be configured to automatically switch from the primary speed to the standby speed.
Failover: In redundant mode, the primary key and failover key or speed displacement sensor must be installed on the same axial plane to ensure phase continuity during failover.
Speed measurement: Monitor rotating gears, keyways, or gears on the shaft to alert at zero speed, monitor reverse rotation, and provide speed measurements to track process conditions.
Key or phase measurement: Also composed of a displacement sensor, but with a target per revolution, is a key parameter for detecting changes in the health of the machine.
Self-test function: includes monitoring hardware, power input, hardware temperature, sensors, and cables.

Functions:
The EMERSON A6312 Speed and Key Monitor is designed for the most critical rotating machinery monitoring of highly reliable equipment, such as steam, gas, compressors and hydraulic turbonachinery, to monitor its speed, phase, zero speed and direction of rotation.
