Description
Parameters and specifications:
The BENTLY 3500/45 is a four-channel monitor that accepts input from a variety of sensors, including proximity eddy current sensors, rotary position sensors (RPT), DC linear variable differential converters (DCLVDT), AC linear Variable differential converters (AC LVDT), and rotary potentiometers.
The monitor channels are programmed in pairs to perform up to two functions at a time, such as axial (lateral) position, differential expansion, standard single bevel differential expansion, non-standard single bevel differential expansion, double bevel differential expansion, compensation differential expansion, shell expansion and valve position.
Alarm point setting: Any value measured by the monitor can be used as the alarm point, and any two values measured can be used as the danger point. All alarm setting points are set through the software configuration, the alarm value can be adjusted, and usually can be arbitrarily set within the range of 0 ~ 100% of the full scale of the respective measurement value.
Size and weight:
Dimensions (H x W x D) : 241.3 mm x 24.4 mm x 241.8 mm (9.50 inches x 0.96 inches x 9.52 inches).
Weight: 0.91 kg (2.0 lb).
Series:
The BENTLY 3500/45 is part of the BENTLY 3500 family, a system designed specifically for mechanical protection applications with continuous, on-line monitoring capabilities.
Features:
Supports up to four signal inputs and receives signals from a variety of sensors.
The front panel features LED indicators for real-time monitoring.
OK, TX/RX and bypass LED indicators help users determine the status of the machine.
Good signal conditioning at 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit).
Provides machine safety protection that triggers alarms by comparing observed parameters with predefined alarm setpoints in real time to protect machines and operations and maintenance personnel.
Microcontrollers with serial ports that support multiple operating systems such as WIN7, XP, Vista, Linux, Mac OS and provide an easy to use RS485 interface via USB to RS485 converter.
Functions:
The BENTLY 3500/45 position monitor is mainly used to monitor the axial position, differential expansion and other parameters of mechanical equipment, providing important information for early identification of mechanical faults.
It drives alarms by continuously comparing monitored parameters to configured alarm setpoints and provides basic machine information to operations and maintenance personnel.
