Communication capability: Using R-Net allows a computer or other device to communicate with the AutoMate controller via a serial gateway and computer bus card, allowing full speed data transmission of 800KBaud.
Commonality: All AutoMate controllers use a common software language, and features in AutoMate 40E are shared in a subset of all lower AutoMate processors.
